JSC Nurzhanar was established on the basis of the Urals Beer and Soft Drinks Plant in 1993. The company's history dates back to 1969, when a soft drinks workshop with a capacity of 250,000 dal per year was commissioned.

In 1970, a beer bottling line with a capacity of 1 million dal per year was commissioned, followed in 1971 by a malt house with a capacity of 6,600 tonnes of malt per year.

In 2004, the gradual modernization of the brewery commenced and will end in 2007. Modern production equipment is installed along the beer production chain, making it possible to produce a high quality product with a long shelf life.

In 2011 a bottled drinking water production facility was commissioned.

To date, Nurzhanar produces ten types of beer (Nurzhanar, Riga, Riga Premium, Uralskoye, Zhigulevskoye, Samurai, Českiy Dobrish and others), kvasses (Nurzhanar and Khlebny) and drinking water (Nurzhanar). All types of products are intended to be consumed as low-alcoholic and soft drinks.

The technical level of beer, water and kvass production matches the best foreign and domestic equivalents.

The company operates a quality management system, which was certified for compliance with international standard ST RK ISO 9001. All types of products manufactured by JSC Nurzhanar are certified and marked for compliance.

The company includes the following production shops: brewing shop, fermentation and camp shop, beer bottling shop, bottling shop of drinking bottled water and beverages.
