Joint Stock Company "West Kazakhstan Corporation of Building Materials", which has more than forty years of history, is the oldest in the Western region of Kazakhstan, specializing in the production of materials used in construction (silicate bricks, lime, dry mortars, aerated concrete, etc.).
The rich reserves of chalk and quartz sand near the administrative center of the West Kazakhstan region, the city of Uralsk, created favorable conditions for the development of the building materials industry. Taking into account the growing demand for building materials, in 1967 the Ural production association of wall materials was created. In the nineties, the company was segmented into three independent manufacturing companies in order to survive. Despite the difficulties of the transition period, production was not stopped, it was possible to maintain the production base and labor collective.
ВAt the end of 2005, the three above-mentioned construction companies - LLP "Silicat", JSC "Ural silicate brick plant" and JSC "Ural lime plant" to solve the urgent task of technical re-equipment and development of production, having united, created Joint-stock company "West Kazakhstan Corporation of Building Materials ".
All products manufactured by ZKKSM JSC are certified, there is a state license for works (services) in the field of architectural, urban planning and construction activities. The enterprise fully covers the region's need for silicate bricks and lime, part of the products is supplied to neighboring regions of the republic.
