On June 7, an online meeting of the Regional Council on attracting investments, improving the investment climate and promoting exports was held under the chairmanship of the Akim of the West Kazakhstan region with the participation of representatives of business circles and heads of state bodies.

Within the Council, 5 new projects were considered, such as the construction of a battery plant, an innovation center for the development of entrepreneurship (MIZ), the construction of a potash fertilizer plant at the Satimola and Chelkar deposits, the organization of tourist activities on Lake Shalkar, and a medical center.

Following the meeting, 5 new projects with a total value of more than 458.5 billion tenge were considered and approved with the creation of more than 1950 jobs. The implementation of these projects will increase the volume of investments in fixed assets and will contribute to the development of priority sectors: mechanical engineering, agro-industrial complex, production of potash fertilizers, tourism and medicine.
