On February 18, 2021, an online meeting of the Regional Council for attracting investments, improving the investment climate and promoting exports was held under the chairmanship of the Akim of the West Kazakhstan region with the participation of representatives of business circles and heads of state bodies.

Within the framework of the Council, projects were considered for the construction of a foundry with a gas piston power plant in the Baiterek region ( KazArmaprom LLP), for the organization of an agricultural value chain: from growing crops and production of mixed feed for small cattle / cattle to dairy production and meat products in the Terekty region ( JSC "ULP" ), for the construction of a plant for the production of expanded clay gravel, located in the area: st. Zhaiyk, Terekty district ( TumarOral LLP) , on the construction of a gym in Uralsk ( FE "FOOTBALL KIDS URALSK" ), on the organization of an agro-industrial complex for growing fish (large - horned livestock, poultry) in Kaztalovsky district ( FE "Sartaev" ).

Following the meeting, 5 new projects were considered, of which 5 projects were supported with a total cost of about 70 billion tenge with the creation of more than 700 jobs.
