In accordance with the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Acting Akim of the region, K. Aitmukhambetov, with representatives of local government bodies and retail chains, aiming to ensure price stability for socially significant food products in the region and identify problematic issues.

Within the framework of the meeting, participants discussed opportunities for organizing promotions and discounts on socially significant food products in retail chains ahead of the holidays, the current situation with the regional stabilization fund’s goods, and recent amendments to trade legislation.
