As part of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to attract investment, work is actively carried out in this direction. The volume of investments in fixed assets following the results of 11 months of 2022 increased by 4.5% and amounted to 405.7 billion tenge.

At the end of 2022, 18 projects were implemented with a total cost of 224 billion tenge with the creation of 700 permanent new jobs.

In addition, during the relocation of enterprises from the Russian Federation, projects were launched for the production of window frames and plywood by TerezeStyle LLP and QazFanCom LLP.

In 2023, it is planned to commission 17 projects with a total cost of 18.8 billion tenge with the creation of 620 new jobs.

It is necessary to note a number of major ongoing projects with foreign participation: the expansion of Karachaganak (KPO b.v.), the production of hydrocarbon raw materials at the Rozhkovskoye production facility (Ural Oil and Gas LLP), the construction of an oil deep processing plant (ABS-Munai LLP), a project to organize a vertically integrated poultry farm in the West Kazakhstan region (Agrotop Ltd), liquid methanol production (ZhaikPetroleumLtd LLP), etc.

In particular, in order to develop the gas chemical industry, since 2019, ZhaikPetroleumLtd LLP has been working on the implementation of the project for the construction of a gas chemical complex. The project provides for the production of class A methanol, ammonia and carbamide. The total cost of the project is 140 million US dollars.

As part of the project implementation in 2015, a land plot of 18.7 hectares was allocated. The missing infrastructure is being brought up as part of the Business Road Map 2025 program.

On January 25, 2022, an agreement was reached between ZhaikPetroleumLtd LLP and NC KazTransGas JSC on the supply of commercial gas.

On December 6, 2022, as part of a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Uskenbaev K.A. ZhaikPetroleumLTD LLP signed an EPC contract worth $140 million with the Chinese company CITIC Construction and China Huanqiu Contracting&Engineering.

In addition, the project is being implemented as part of:

- Roadmap of the election program of the party "Amanat",

- National project for the development of the petrochemical industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2021 No. 730,

- A single map of industrialization.

The implementation of the above projects will improve the development of priority sectors of the economy, incl. gas chemical industry in the region, increase the tax base of the region and create new jobs.
