December 7, 2022 with the participation of the First Deputy Akim of the region Utegulov A.K., General Director of the International Engineering Center (IBMC) Karimov M.Sh., KPO b.v. and its contractors hosted a Forum to support local manufacturers.
During the Forum Utegulov A.K. outlined the need to intensify work to expand the share of local content, especially in terms of purchasing goods from local producers. A video about the opportunity of local companies was also shown.
Within the framework of the event, General Director of the International Engineering Center (IBMC) Karimov M.Sh. familiarized with the activities of the center, the work being done to establish interaction between domestic companies and major operators of oil projects, in particular KPO b.v., TCO and NSOC. He also introduced goods for which high demand is predicted for the next 10 years. In particular, these are such types of goods as tubular products, pumps and seals, process filters and other types of products.
KPO b.v. familiarized with the progress of the implementation of major projects. KPO b.v. contractors, such as KKS-SICHIM LLP, Kazburgaz JSC, Kios LLP, Aksai Operating LLP, Ligabue Central Asia LLP, Syrlasu LLP, Isker Consortium LLP spoke in more detail about their projects and needs.
For example, the contractor for the Karachaganak Expansion Project (PKK 1A) KKS-SICHIM PZS introduced the main types of purchased goods, these are gaskets and bolts, insulating materials, junction boxes for instrumentation and control, sealing (insulation) materials, electrical installation materials (bushings, termination kits , ties, cable tiles, tags) and other types of products.
After that, B2B meetings of KPO b.v. contractors were organized. with commodity producers, during which the producers discussed their problematic issues, spoke about their capabilities and plans for their purchase.
The results of the forum were also summed up, where tasks were outlined for further involvement of local manufacturers in the procurement of contractors from KPO b.v.
