JSC "Research Institute" Gidropribor " was established in 1972, and until 1991 performed research and development work on the creation of marine underwater equipment for special purposes and technologies for its use. Currently, the Institute, since 1992, is a part of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering".

For more than 40 years of research and production activity, the Institute has performed more than 100 R & D, as well as copyright certificates and patents. The Institute has created an arsenal of equipment that allows you to perform marine underwater technical work - these are towed uninhabited underwater search vehicles, self-propelled searchers-destroyers of sea mines, working underwater vehicles for inspection and maintenance of underwater oil and gas pipelines, as well as for inspection of sunken objects.

JSC "Research Institute" Gidropribor " has accumulated experience in the design and construction of river boats, coastal navigation boats and uninhabited underwater vehicles, has highly qualified engineering and technical personnel, production and research bases that allow the design and construction of high-speed service and traveling boats, mobile robotic complexes for surface, underwater, ground and air applications, mobile diving complexes, navigation equipment, oil and gas engineering and combine into a single technological cycle-scientific research – design - production of prototypes-testing – mastering the production of developed products, contributing to their competitiveness.

The necessary licenses, certificates and certificates are available to perform the work. Prospects for the development of JSC "Research Institute "Gidropribor" are associated with the implementation of investment projects to expand and update the production of small boats and robotic systems.
