“Uralsk factory “Zenit "” JSC was established in 1941.

The plant is a machine-building enterprise with electrical installation production, has production workshops, facilities for auxiliary production and energy supply, a railway branch and a natural gas boiler house.

The occupied territory is about 20 hectares. Currently, “Uralsk factory “Zenit”” JSC as part of “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering”” JSC is part of the structure of enterprises of the military-industrial complex, the main task of which is to ensure the country's defense capability through the implementation of state defense orders and the production of competitive special-purpose products.

The factory has been manufacturing boats and ships, which are the main part of its products, since 1993. During this time, the serial production of boats and ships with a displacement of up to 400 tons has been mastered. Their development at the plant was the beginning of the birth of a new branch of the military shipbuilding industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In total, the plant has produced 30 boats and ships for the power structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the future, it is planned to produce specialized marine vessels with a dry weight of up to 720 tons (universal multifunctional vessels, floating laboratories, tugs with a shallow draft, shift-shift delivery vessels, search and rescue and fire vessels), as well as technical fleet vessels (dredging shells) designed for the development and movement of soil or various rocks in water-logged areas (extraction of SAG, sand, sapropel, sludge, precious metals, etc.).

The manufacturing equipment complies with universal profile of the enterprise and enables the following types of production: machining, fitting and Assembly, Assembly welding, cutting blanking, forging, electrical, tool, foundry, paint, plastics and rubber, areas of: heat treatment, electroplating, construction of wooden joinery and packaging products.

Design and manufacturing of metal structures of buildings and structures; fabrication of flange-fitting items of various sizes according to the requirements of ASME, API and GOST for a working pressure up to 420 bar; design, manufacture, repair, testing, modification and installation of vessels working under pressure; and adjusting valves; process piping and filters; heat exchangers oil coolers;

In a Central laboratory performed testing of welded joints and materials according to the requirements of the standards of ASTM and GOST: testing of welded joints of metal bending, tensile, bend the sides (lateral bend), kink notches, impact strength Charpy V and U – neck, t-test connections to fracture, hardness HB, HRC, HV, close-up of the test specimens, materials and welded joints, colour testing (penetrant), chemical analysis of metals;

Production of flanged fasteners and anchor bolts, gears, tools, metal and non-metal sealing elements, cuffs, membranes, gaskets, etc. according to the requirements provided for by ANSI/API and GOST standards;

Repair of equipment: process pumps, electric motors, ball valves, valves, flow regulators;

Provision of services of personnel and equipment for service maintenance;

Design and manufacture of lifting cable equipment, pipe towels, traverse, boom and mast mounting, rigging elements.

The company has a quality management system that meets the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2008, at the stage of implementation of the OHSAS18000 certification "Occupational Safety and Health Management System", there are certificates of the certification system of the Russian Register "Russian Register" and the International Quality Network IQNet, a certificate confirming the company's compliance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, for the design, construction, modernization and repair of ships and ship equipment.

The company has licenses for: development, production, repair, purchase and sale of ammunition, weapons and military equipment, spare parts, components and devices for them, as well as special materials and equipment for their production, including installation, commissioning, use, storage, repair and service; design and survey activities; construction and installation work; handling of ionizing radiation sources; engaging in activities related to the acquisition, destruction, distribution, sale, storage, transportation, use of precursors; engaging in medical activities.
