On June 8-9, a visit of the Dutch companies was organized by the Head of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands A. Zhumagaliyev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Karstens.
Today, considerable attention is paid to the development of the agricultural sector and the creation of favorable conditions for attracting investors to the region.
In the region, there is a dependence on import in the segment of vegetables and all the necessary conditions for the construction of greenhouse complexes are being created for its solution.
A meeting of Dutch and domestic companies was organized with the participation of the regional akim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands A. Zhumagaliev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Karstens. At this meeting, the investment potential of the region was presented, issues of the popularization of greenhouse complexes and the use of Dutch technology were discussed.
From the pool of projects using Dutch technologies, it was planned to commission 3 large greenhouses, of which today 2 greenhouses are already operating (UTK LLP - 5.6 hectares, World Green Company LLP - 11.8 hectares).
Today, 2 greenhouses provide 50% of the region's demand for this product.
On the territory of the Industrial Zone, the Broeikas Uralsk company laid a capsule for the construction of a greenhouse complex with an area of 55 hectares with the participation of the Dutch company Van Der Hoeven. Capacity - 40,000 tons of vegetables / year. Considering the logistics of the region, this project is export-oriented.
It is important to note that the implementation of the Broeikas Uralsk LLP project will fully cover import substitution and create an additional impetus for export to neighboring regions of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
