On May 25 at 12.00 the first meeting of the working group on the development of international relations of the Volgograd and West Kazakhstan regions was held under the chairmanship of the first deputy akim of the region Mukhtar Mankeev.

At this meeting, an agreement was reached on regulating the issue of the number of saigas on the territory of the two border regions. Also, the issue of construction of a high-voltage line VL-110 kVa 75 km Zasury village-Vengelovka village was discussed. Among other things, they discussed the development of health care, culture and trade and economic cooperation.
It is important to note that for the 1st quarter of this year, the foreign trade turnover of the West Kazakhstan region with the Volgograd region amounted to 1.7 million US dollars (export - 60.0 thousand US dollars, imports - 1.7 million US dollars), there is an annual growth of trade between the West Kazakhstan region and the Russian Federation by 10%, which is an additional impetus for the development of border regions.
Also, a solemn remote signing of the Agreement between the Union "Volgograd Chamber of Commerce and Industry" and the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the West Kazakhstan region took place. The work of this club will give impetus to the development of the economy of the border regions.
