As part of the events planned for the Year of Working Professions in 2025, the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial-Innovative Development of the West Kazakhstan Region is organizing introductory tours for college students to manufacturing enterprises within the framework of Open Days.

The purpose of these events is to promote working professions among young people and enhance their prestige, as well as to improve the quality of workforce training in technical and vocational education institutions by strengthening cooperation between colleges and industrial enterprises.

Today, on September 26, 2025, students of the West Kazakhstan Industrial College visited the production facilities of LLP “Oral Trade and Industrial Company”. The enterprise manufactures profiled sheets, additional components, road signs, polyethylene pipes for various purposes, as well as plastic consumer goods.

During the tour, students became familiar with the organization of production, technological processes, and modern equipment used at the enterprise.

Since the beginning of the year, similar introductory tours have been conducted at such enterprises as LLP “Ural Transformer Plant”, JSC “West Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company”, JSC “Oralagroremmash”, LLP “SARI KZ”, LLP “QazExpoCentre-Pipe”, LLP “BatysMunaiGazZhabdyktary”, LLP “Packaging Systems”, and others.

Students from the Ural Polytechnic College, A. Imanov Road Transport College, College of Service and New Technologies, Higher Agrarian and Technical College, as well as Zhangir Khan West Kazakhstan Agrarian and Technical University and West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University took part in these visits.

By the end of the current year, visits to other companies are planned, including those involving students from additional colleges.
