This product has a significant impact on the price dynamics of socially significant food items. The overall meat price index has increased by 25% since the beginning of this year, and the shoulder-brisket cut – by 23.6%.
Since this product is part of the consumer basket and its price increase is noticeable for buyers, its price is under the supervision of the authorized authorities.
Monitoring of retail outlets and markets in Uralsk showed the following prices:

At the central market “Mirlan,” bone-in meat starts at 2800–3000 tenge, depending on the quality and part of the carcass.

The shoulder-brisket cut, included in the list of socially significant products, can be purchased at an average price of 3000–3300 tenge.

The highest price for beef ranges from 4200 to 4500 tenge. Sellers at the “El Yrisi” market offer it at the same price.
