On September 23 this year, in Uralsk, at the Atameken Arts Center, the International Investment Forum "WESTKAZINVEST-2022" was held with the participation of representatives from such countries as Turkey, Israel, Portugal, Great Britain, the USA and the border regions of the Russian Federation, as well as government agencies , development institutions, business communities of the West Kazakhstan region and other regions of the Urals and the Volga region.

Within the framework of the Forum, an exhibition of commodity producers of our region and border regions of the Russian Federation was organized.

At the plenary session, the akim of the region acquainted the participants of the forum with the investment potential of the region and its possibilities. Speakers from Turkey, Portugal and the United States presented their investment projects planned for implementation in the West Kazakhstan region, and the speaker from the Russian Federation discussed proposals for strengthening the establishment of trade and economic ties for the purpose of interregional cooperation and exchange of experience.

Panel sessions were held to attract investment in the oil and gas sector, the agro-industrial complex and IT technologies.

Within the framework of the round table, issues of entrepreneurs on obtaining investment preferences, creating the necessary conditions for priority sectors of the economy and import substitution were discussed.

As a result of the Forum, memorandums were signed between Saratov Dairy Plant LLC, Orenburg Polycarboxylate Plant LLC and Aqjaiyq SEC JSC, a roadmap was also signed for the implementation of a project to organize a vertically integrated poultry farm in WKO with a total value of 105 million euros.
