As part of the state visit of the Head of State Kassym Zhomart Kemelevich Tokayev to the Republic of Turkey on May 10-11 this year, agreements were established to bring relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey to the level of an expanded strategic partnership.

To further strengthen relations with the Republic of Turkey, on May 12 this year, a meeting was organized between Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Iskaliyev G.N. and the Turkish company Artcan.

During the meeting, a project was discussed for the construction of a greenhouse of the 1st stage in 13 hectares of the Baiterek region using Dutch and Turkish technology. It is planned to grow tomatoes, herbs, peppers and strawberries in the greenhouse. According to the agreements reached, the start of the project implementation is planned in the near future.
