About the Industrial Zone

Industrial zone is a fully prepared land plots, with clearly defined legal rights, the necessary infrastructure and communications. Their advantage is that any production can be located at the proposed sites: from pharmaceutical companies to automobile factories, while the investor does not bear any hidden or additional costs.

The purpose of the Industrial Zone: provision of state support to private entrepreneurship and development in the field of priority industries, such as mechanical engineering, food and light industries, production of building materials and structures, agricultural equipment.

Engineering infrastructure includes electricity, gas, water supply, sewerage, telephone communications, Internet.

To create comfortable conditions for residents, an administrative center operates on the territory of the industrial zone, which includes an office part, a conference hall, hotel rooms, and a dining complex.

About the Industrial Zone in WKR

The construction of an industrial zone is planned in the region, the location of the industrial zone in the area of the Poima station of the Aksuatsky rural district of the Terekty district with an area of 281 hectares has been determined (resolution of the Akimat of the Terekta district of August 8, 2016 No. 243 on the allocation of a land plot)

The industrial zone will consist of 14 sectors, depending on the type of industry:
Leather and footwear production
Mechanical engineering
Production of packaging containers
Glass production
Chemical production
Textile production
Food production
Manufacture of electrical appliances
Building materials
Manufacture of rubber and plastic products
Furniture production
Production of products for landscape design
Small production
Objects of the management company and the area of engineering structures
Transport and logistics center

At present, a positive conclusion of the state examination for the feasibility study and design estimate of the project has been received. On February 11, 2020, a meeting of the expert council was held at the MIIR RK. On March 16, 2020, a positive conclusion of the expert council to the draft concept for the creation of an industrial zone of the WKR was received.

The resolution of the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region No. 122 dated 01.06.2020 "On the creation of an industrial zone of the West Kazakhstan region of republican significance" was adopted.

In addition, the issue of creating a management company IZ with the British company "EuralHub" is being considered. To date, a memorandum has been signed with the British company "Eural Hub" Ltd. EuralHub Ltd plans to build internal infrastructure and fill the industrial zone.

The prospects of IZ are already confirmed today by the manifestation of interest on the part of foreign investors.

Thus, an agreement was signed with the Dutch company Broeikas for the construction of the largest greenhouse complex in the region for growing vegetables with a total value of 160 million dollars and a capacity of up to 40 thousand tons of products per year in the Industrial Zone. In November of this year, the construction of the 1st stage of a greenhouse on 5 hectares began.
